Barn Close Farm Shop, on Cross Lane, DE45 1JN, just on the outskirts of Monyash, is open every day from 7:30am-7:30pm selling their traditionally reared meat as roasting joints, burgers, sausages, chops, steaks and bacon, and other locally sourced produce.

Their artisan ice cream is from Ashbourne’s Coldeaton Jersey cows, a prize winning herd producing award winning ice cream. They have lots of delicious flavours, available as single portions or sharing pots.
They also have freshly ground coffee, hot chocolate, tea and cold drinks to be enjoyed with a choice of delicious cakes, with seating outside and a car parking area.
They stock free range eggs, milk, bread, honey, jams, chutneys, butter, fruit juice, biscuits, tea, coffee, sugar, greeting cards and more!!
You can find them on Tagg Lane, the B5055 heading out of the village towards the Ashbourne/Buxton road A515. Take the first right turn when you leave the village onto Cross Lane. Alternatively, you can walk from the village car park on chapel street, going over the stile and following the footpath across the fields for about half a mile…
