Directions
From Manchester (including the airport) and the north-west, approach via Buxton, taking the A515 towards Ashbourne. Monyash is indicated as a left turn, the B5055, about 7 miles out of Buxton.
From Sheffield follow signs to Bakewell. In Bakewell the Monyash road (B5055) is straight on at the roundabout in the centre of Bakewell.
From the south-west we recommend bypassing Birmingham on the east via the M42, then the M6 Toll or A446 to join the A38 near Lichfield, then pick up the A50, south of Derby, to Sudbury from where you follow the Buxton-bound A515 via Ashbourne. Monyash is signposted 7 miles from Buxton.
From London and the South you’ll be approaching via the M1. Leave at junction 23A or 24 and follow the A50 to Sudbury from where you follow the Buxton-bound A515 via Ashbourne. Alternatively continue to junction 29, the A617 to Chesterfield. In Chesterfield follow the A619 for Bakewell. The Monyash road (B5055) is straight on at the roundabout in the centre of Bakewell.
