These three dressings were erected close to wells in Monyash during the Spring Bank Holiday week in late May 2011. Money raised at the wells was split between Macmillan Cancer Support, RABI (supporting farming families) and the Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Rutland Air Ambulance.
The Adult Well Dressing, created by adults, children and some visitors to the village, is a celebration of farming.
The Junior Well Dressing shows the
importance of health and fitness.
The Infant Well Dressing celebrates the 200th anniversary of Church Schools.
This dressing was designed by Dominik Stobierski, Poppy Edge, Ben Hatcher and Abigail McNulty.
