“Puddling” is putting the clay into the frames that will become the Well Dressings. It usually takes place on the Saturday or Sunday morning a week before Spring Bank Holiday and the village’s May Market. It typically takes 1-2 hours, depending on how many people roll up their sleeves to help. Contact us if you’d like to help, or just know more.
